The Scheme is open to individuals and Co-operative societies as well. The personal benefits such as waiver in processing charges and personal insurance will not be applicable to co-operative societies.
Insurance cover not available to Armed Forces Service Personnel and to all Persons above 70 age.
In case of joint account, only the first name account holder will be eligible for insurance cover and waiver in processing charges. Nomination compulsory for being eligible for insurance coverage.
